Arizona Border Fence Project Eyes EF Block ™
It could happen! With the passage of Senate Bill 1403, the Arizona legislature endorsed the building of a border
fence along the full length Arizona's border with the State of Sonora. While monies have not been appropriated at
this time, the State has put up a website soliciting donations for the project. Nearly $300,000 has
been collected to date from Americans in all 50 states.
You can view the website at https://www.buildtheborderfence.com/azborder/info.xhtml.
Senator Steve Smith, Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation and Criminal Justice,
who authored the bill, has endorsed an EF Block™ wall as the design of choice for construction.
The product's light weight reduces shipping cost to remote sites. And EF Block's system or steel reinforced
concrete grouting in a one foot by one foot grid creates an impenatrable barrier and provides the stability to
build adequate height.
